When a PadSplit Member is terminated, they are required to move out of the property. Additionally, their payment portal is closed immediately, preventing them from making any further payments. This is done to simplify the eviction process: If a Member has made any payments, no matter how small, it can make the eviction process more complicated.
However, admins and Hosts have the ability to reopen a Member’s payment portal if the Member is willing to make a full or partial payment toward their balance.
*Note: ACH payments are not allowed through the payment portal.
** Note: You can choose when to close the payments portal. For example, setting the portal to close on 11/17 will automatically close it at 11:59 PM on 11/17.
