What is a Fraudulent Application?

Last updated April 23, 2025

An application is considered fraudulent under the following conditions:

  • A member appears to be applying on behalf of someone else
  • A member is using stolen information including, but not limited to
    • Identity
      • SSN, Name, Birth date, etc.
    • Credit or debit card
    • Bank credentials
    • Likeness
  • A member is attempting to hide their identity or use any identifying information belonging to someone else
  • A member is trying to become approved after their membership has been banned

This is not an exhaustive list. Any attempts to provide fraudulent application information or attempt to defraud will result in a banned application.

If suspected fraud is confirmed, the membership will be banned and the host or PadSplit may pursue legal action.
