What are PadSplit's income requirements?

At PadSplit, we're committed to making quality housing accessible. Our income verification process is designed to be flexible and accommodating to various financial situations. Here's how we work with you to find your perfect PadSplit home:

Two Easy Options for Verifying Your Income

1. Automatic Verification with Plaid: Connect your bank account securely and Plaid will automatically detect your recurring income.
2. Document Upload: Provide pay stubs, bank statements, deposit records, or award letters. We'll review these to verify your income.

Receiving Your Approved Rate

When you pass our Membership criteria and your income is verified, you will be approved for a maximum weekly room rate. 

• For W-2 or 1099 earners: Your approved weekly rate will be half your verified weekly income
• For SSI recipients: Your approved rate will be two-thirds of your weekly income
