Messaging your PadMates

PadSplit Members have access to a house chat via the web dashboard and PadSplit app. The messenger is a great way to communicate with your PadMates! For example, introduce yourself when you’re new to the house, message someone if you brought their package inside, or ask people to be on the lookout if you can’t find your keys. It’s also a great tool to coordinate cleaning schedules. 

Can messages on the chat be deleted?

As of January 2025, messages cannot be deleted from the chat, as we strive to promote security, transparency, and respectful interactions. Please ensure your messages and tone are always thoughtful while using the PadSplit messenger. Your Host may also view house messages if requested. You may be subject to negative ratings or other consequences for abusive language in the chat. 

Please note that the messenger is not actively monitored and should not be used to report safety concerns. If you believe your safety is at risk, contact 911 or your local law enforcement immediately.
