Help! I'm locked out of my room/home

At PadSplit, we want to ensure you always have safe and easy access to your home. While you're responsible for keeping track of your codes, keys, and privacy locks, our platform can provide help if issues arise.

For Lock Issues:

  • Note that your Host’s response to a lock issue may take time. If you need immediate assistance, you may choose to contact a locksmith at your expense. Hosts may choose to reimburse locksmiths at their discretion.
  • Replacement keys may incur a fee at your Host’s discretion

Tampering with or replacing locks violates our Membership Rules. Such actions are subject to our Member Conduct at PadSplit policy, fines and damage fees.
