Disputing a Membership termination or fine

Last updated October 29, 2024

PadSplit strives to provide a fair environment for all Members. If you believe your Membership was wrongly terminated or you were incorrectly fined, you can submit a Dispute Request.

To be considered under our Dispute Policy:

  • Use the Dispute Request Form within 7 days of the termination or fine
  • PadSplit will review your case within 7-14 business days
  • We'll notify you of the result via email
  • Clear and convincing evidence is required for consideration

Please note:

  • PadSplit retains the right to terminate Memberships or issue fines in certain situations. Your Host always reserves the right to terminate your occupancy in their properties and/or formally file for eviction.
  • If disputing Membership termination, you must move out first. If approved, you can apply for a new room, but not with your former Host*
  • A Notice to Vacate from a Host is not disputable with PadSplit
  • Ratings and Member Scores are not disputable

*In some cases, a single Host may own all of the PadSplits in an area.
