Looking to boost your property’s appeal and encourage longer-term stays? PadSplit’s new Stay Rewards feature offers a compelling solution that benefits both hosts and members. This innovative program allows hosts to offer a valuable incentive: members can earn one free week of stay after maintaining a six-month residency.

Creating win-win situations for hosts and members

Stay Rewards transforms the traditional rental experience into something more rewarding. For hosts, it’s an opportunity to attract members seeking stability and long-term housing solutions. The promise of a free week after six months serves as a powerful motivator for members to choose—and stick with—your property.

The program’s appeal lies in its simplicity. Members appreciate the clear path to earning their reward, while hosts benefit from increased property visibility and potentially longer occupancy rates. By offering Stay Rewards, your property stands out in the marketplace, attracting members who value stability and are more likely to become long-term residents.

How to use Stay Rewards

Implementation couldn’t be simpler. Hosts can activate Stay Rewards through their dashboard in just a few clicks:

  1. Sign in to your host portal
  2. Navigate to your property list
  3. Find the Stay Rewards column
  4. Toggle the feature on for your chosen properties

Once activated, your listing will prominently display the Stay Rewards badge, immediately catching the attention of prospective members.

Understanding member eligibility

To maintain the program’s integrity and ensure it rewards genuine commitment, members must meet specific criteria to qualify for their free week:

  • Active reward status: If a stay reward offer is disabled, members who already have an active stay reward will continue to progress toward earning their reward.
  • Payment status: Maintaining a zero balance is essential—all payments must be current when the six-month milestone arrives.
  • Active membership: Members must maintain active status throughout their stay, as any membership lapses will affect their eligibility.
  • Room changes:
    • If a member changes rooms within the same property, they will maintain their progress toward the reward.
    • If a member moves to a different property within the host’s portfolio, they will not maintain their progress.
  • Reward format: The free week will be applied as a concession, meaning the member will not be billed for that week.

Members can easily track their progress toward earning the reward through the Stay Tracker feature on their dashboard.

Building stronger communities

Stay Rewards represents more than just a financial incentive—it’s a tool for building stronger, more stable communities within your properties. By encouraging longer stays, you’re fostering an environment where members can truly feel at home and invested in their living space.

This program aligns perfectly with PadSplit’s broader mission of creating sustainable, affordable housing solutions. When hosts offer Stay Rewards, they’re not just enhancing their property’s appeal—they’re contributing to the larger goal of making stable housing more accessible and rewarding for everyone involved.

Ready to strengthen your property’s appeal and build a more committed community? Enable Stay Rewards today and attract members who value long-term stability as much as you do.
